Hey, guys.
Lately there's been some crap flying around. It's been hard to moderate the server and I realized that I needed some help. So I'm looking for staff.. but this option may be closed soon. This is an experiment, and only for people who are dedicated, level-headed, wise and committed. Anyway.. here it is..
Guidelines:
1. You may only submit this application once. If you submit
it more than once, no matter how long you wait between applications, your
applications will be immediately rejected.
2. You are not allowed to inquire about the status of your
application at any time. Asking about the application will result in your
application being immediately rejected.
3. Copy and paste this application (including these
guidelines) into the email you create. Fill out each question fully and
completely. Every single question is required. Failure to fill out any of the
questions will result in your application being rejected immediately.
4. Submit the application to tron95.fallenlegacy.mc@gmail.com
in order to be considered for staff. Submitting an application anywhere else
will result in your application being rejected immediately.
5. This application could take days, weeks, or even months
to process. Every person is a different instance. Above all else, be patient
with your submission, and wait on us to call on you. We will never expect you
to come forward to us to hear about the status of your application, we will always contact you when we are ready,
and not a moment before.
6. Include your IGN (no nicknames, please), as well as your
age, and the amount of time you’ve played on New Signet and on Minecraft.
Application:
1. Write an essay in a Word Document, 10 pt. single spaced
Times New Roman font, discussing at great length the merits and skills that you
as an individual currently possess that would make you the ideal New Signet
staff member. Why do you deserve to carry the title of “New Signet Staff”? What
makes you the ideal candidate? Attach that document to the email.
2. Describe, at great length, any previous server and/or
forum moderating experience you’ve done across any game platform or other
gaming-related service. Include experience from any game, not just Minecraft.
Describe any instances of administrating, moderating, anything of that nature.
3. Provide a complete list of references for each and every
server or forum you have worked with as a staff member in the past. Include
names, as full as you can make them, usernames, Skype contact information (if
applicable), the game that was played, emails, and any other contact
information that allows us to reach them in a relatively quick period of time.
If you cannot provide a reference for anything mentioned in the previous
question, do not list that as experience, as we cannot verify it without a
reference.
4. Explain how you came to know of this server. Why did you
come into the family? Where did you first find out about this group, and when
did you join it?
5. Explain your current standing and feelings about every
single current staff member on the server. Discuss your experiences with them
and around them, how you feel about their ethics, contributions to the server,
possible conflicts, and problems that might arise between the two of you if you
were hired. Explain how you would feel working with or under these staff
members. Write at least two paragraphs per staff member, and it is important
that you be frank and honest with your descriptions. Failure to be 100% honest
in this section will constitute a complete and total voiding of your
application.
6. Explain what would happen if this application was
rejected. Would you resent the staff? Would you stop playing on the server? How
would your attitude towards players change? Answer this and other questions
honestly and fully. Do not hold anything back, no matter how much you may think
it would damage your application. Honesty is required; failure to provide it
leads to rejection of your entire application.
