Announcements!
Happy 20th!
To those in New Jersey, happy first day of summer vacation! c:
Drawn today at midnight will be the SPECIAL LOTTERY, the Summer! Jun 20 kit, which consists of Full Chain Armor, 32 Apples and Two Tamed Wolves! Hurry and cash in your tickets to win this fabulous Summer Lottery!
Daily lotteries start today and will be drawn every day at midnight, all summer long! Cash it in! ;D Today's lottery, as a "kick start" kind of thing, will be a Commercial Agloe Hills Premium Medium-Small Cloud District Plot (worth up to 20k!). This plot comes with starter building material, such as 16 chests, a stack of oak logs, a stack of cobblestone and a stack of torches! If more than 30 tickets are submitted in today's daily lotto, a diamond set of tools (axe, shovel, pickaxe, hoe) will be added!
To submit lottery tickets, go to /warp lottery and buy as many "lottery tickets" (sponges) as you'd like to throw in; name them your minecraft username and drop them in the hoppers!
Don't neglect other lotteries going on at the moment:
Weekly (Drawn every Sunday): Survival Kit
(a diamond sword, a compass, a bed, 13 bread, a furnace, 15 coal, a crafting table and a clock)
Monthly: BBQ Kit
(15 of 4 types of raw meats, furnace and coal)
Special: Summer! Jun 20 Kit
(stated above)
I'm excitedly announcing a server-wide Hunger Games, scheduled for the 24th! If you'd like to participate, just show up in time! Festivities start at 4:30 PM (Eastern Standard Time)! The day's schedule will be published soon. We only have 19 spots, and it's all first-come-first-serve. Winners will win a huge grand prize, and may the odds be ever in your favor! ;D (If you cannot make it, don't fret! This will not be our only Hunger Games; there will be many more held in the future!)
And finally, June 20th marks the end of accepted staff applications. At midnight tonight, the form will close, and staff applications will no longer be accepted. Get those in now!

The AH Project: Canopy District Reclaims
If you own a Canopy District plot (located in Agloe Hills, /warp canopy), you must fill out and submit the following form:

Projects NS and AH
Happy Summer!
Project Agloe Hills (AH) and Project New Signet (NS) is now underway. If you're free, looking for a short-term, high-paying and unique job, apply for Project Worker now by mailing me (limeh_ana) in-game or emailing tron95.fallenlegacy.mc@gmail.com. You do not need to be unemployed to apply for this job. Project Workers will each be assigned unique jobs to aid in Project AH and Project NS.
Project Agloe Hills (An Outline):
-Castle (/warp castle) will be moved.
-Canopy Plots (/warp canopy) will be RESET, unless you speak for your plot. You may sell your plot back to New Signet for half-price (1.5k).
-Business locations that generate little to no business will be closed.
-McDonalds will be renovated and under construction.
-Unsold homes will either be converted into available lots or better homes.
-Unused homes will be resold if not spoken for.
-All NPCs will be flushed.
-Unused services will be eradicated (e.g. the Postal Office).
-Unspoken-for Lottery prizes (some from around one year old) will be deleted. (Who the heck is "Apple"?)
-The Science Institute will be under renovation.
-"Cashmere Bank" will become a section of Agloe Hills.
-A new spawn will be constructed.
Project New Signet (An Outline):
-Unused/unspoken-for towns will be either reclaimed or resold.
-A World Border will be built.
-Workplaces with little to no activity will be closed.
-Lag-Producing elements will be removed (e.g. the Animal Farm is probably going).
-All NPCs will be flushed.
-New Signet is looking into a 1.8 update.
-Survival world will be cleaned, or a new one will be generated.
-A new temporary world will be made for mining. It'll be reset every few weeks.
-Much more will be added to this list.

New Signet Contest: Literature
Excited to announce a new contest, the Literature Contest! (Code LIT)
Quick Overview of What's to Come:
Happy (For some, Almost) Summer! This summer, New Signet has many events planned. One starts this Friday, and ends on the 12th: The Literature Contest! In this contest, contestants write an anonymous work of literature and submit it to the newly-renovated Contest Building (located in Alejandra, across from the Lute Bakery). Submission boxes will not be open until this Friday, the 5th. To submit a contest piece, see a mod for a contest number and name your piece that number. When you're absolutely sure you're ready, submit your work in the hoppers at the Alejandra Community and Contest Center! Works will be able to be voted on after the deadline!
The prizes will be decided on shortly!
Basic Rundown (If you'd like to enter):
-Write Literature Piece (keep it anonymous!).
-Receive Contest Number from a Moderator.
-Name (using an Anvil, or "Publishing" the piece) you work your received Contest Number.
-Review Contest Piece.
-Turn in completed Contest Piece in the hoppers at the Alejandra Community Contest Center.
-Vote (when deadlines arrive)!
Looking forward to seeing you all this summer! See you guys soon, and may the best win!
